This is the second compilation LP from the Target label, featuring a mix of new tracks and remixes from some of the names on the first volume, such as PLB System, Neon, and The Caravan. The standout track on this album is “Call The Cops” by Beathoven (116 BPM), which is already a club hit in many discos due to its house-like impact that fits well into house sets. Other notable tracks include “X-Sample” by No Excuse (118 BPM) and “No Limit” by Neon (122 BPM). Target remains one of the few labels still dedicated to producing pure new beat. High BPMs are practically taboo, and acid is (fortunately) rare on their releases. Keep it up!
