The theme from one of Ennio Morricone’s most famous films, “Once upon a time in the west,” serves as the inspiration for this almost entirely instrumental Italian 12”. Woven into it is the rhythm from “Midnight Express” (Giorgio Moroder), and the whole thing is topped off with that characteristic slightly heavy beat, which is a hallmark of many Italian records. The end result is truly a commercially viable track, and its widespread appeal is enhanced by the recognizability of the theme.
