This number one Italo-freak in the Netherlands compiles his Italo Top 20 weekly, which was frequently featured in Disco/Dance throughout the past year. Of course, we will continue with that in 1987 because Italo has secured a firm place in dance circles.

For 1987, I anticipate a further breakthrough of Italian productions. They are increasingly shedding their somewhat negative reputation for simplicity and sloppiness, while the cheerful spontaneity and special atmosphere seem to appeal to more and more people.
