The charismatic singer of “Love Can’t Turn Around” has now, under his own name and under the direction of Ian Levine, released his first 12″. The combination of High Energy and the Chicago House Sound may seem a bit unusual at first, but after a few listens, you get captivated by the catchy bassline, and then the record becomes irresistible.

Personally, I find the slightly less polished House mix on the B-side better because it allows more room for his phenomenal voice, and the production is less predictable than on the A-side. A surprising follow-up to his debut.
