This is the second maxi-single from the American group with the almost unpronounceable name. A few months ago, they surprised enthusiasts with their impressive debut LP “I See Good Spirits And I See Bad Spirits.” The B-side track of this 12″, “The Devil Does Drugs” (112 BPM), is a remix from that album. The A-side, “Nervous Xians” (125 BPM), is brand new, featuring pulsing sequencers, a catchy bassline, and a steady beat. The vocals and voice samples are pushed to the background, enhancing its danceability. My Life has certainly earned a warm spot with me.
